I am so glad that you are here!
Mother Nurture Natal specialises in pregnancy and postnatal yoga, labour & birth workshops and birth trauma healing covering Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire and surrounding villages including Melbourne and Breedon on the Hill, Derbyshire.
I would love to empower you in your pregnancy, birth, and postnatal journey with knowledge, information and techniques through specially designed classes and workshops and specialist 1:1 nurturing care.
I believe that motherhood is a huge transition for your mind & body and women need support, nurture, knowledge, specialised education and much needed space to heal and recover.

About Me
I'm Claire and I'm passionate about women's antenatal and postnatal health & well-being and how I can empower you with specialist knowledge and much needed nurture in your journey, whether it is your first, second or even third time in motherhood!
I am the mama of two wonderful children and was inspired by both of them in very different ways to found Mother Nurture Natal - my experience was very different for each of my pregnancies and births and it has shaped my passion for supporting and empowering others!
My first was born in 2020 and my second arrived in 2023. Through each of my journeys, I felt this was missing
a mother centred approach with knowledge, specialised education and much needed space to heal and recover.
I am a Champion for Make Birth Better - an organisation which helps to raise awareness and campaign to make birth, including the road before and the journey beyond, better for all. I have worked with them since 2020 and continue to support their mission and campaigns.
I am part of the Derbyshire Maternity & Neonatal Voices and I am actively involved in the NHS Perinatal Pelvic Health working group to shape and improve services for women in pregnancy and postnatally relating to pelvic health.
My approach is warm, nurturing, non-judgemental, supportive and full of empathy and compassion.
I look forward to welcoming you no matter what you need.

Suitable from 12 weeks to birth, join a community of mamas-to-be and experience the benefits of specially selected movements, breathing techniques, labour & birth prep, and relaxation practices along with specialist pelvic health knowledge to empower you in your journey.
There are so many amazing benefits of pregnancy yoga!
As well as offering weekly group classes, I also offer individual 1:1 sessions which are specifically designed for your body and your pregnancy. These can be a lovely way to alleviate specific concerns or if you are not able to make a weekly group class.

My classes are designed to explore movements that can help heal and strengthen your body. I include gentle postnatal yoga with lots of breathwork practice and specialist pelvic health exercises to aid your recovery post birth.
My postnatal classes are unique in that they support you and your recovery from all types of birth with a strong focus on the wellbeing of the mother and navigating the many changes you may experience. Each week we will explore a different theme relating to the fourth trimester.
I believe that postpartum is forever so you are welcome here whatever stage you are at. I am 20 months postpartum and I still love practicing these sequences.
