I am so glad that you are here!

I'm Claire, founder of Mother Nurture Natal which specialises in pregnancy yoga, postnatal yoga & yoga for mums, labour & birth antenatal sessions and birth trauma resolution covering Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire & surrounding areas.

I would love to empower you in your pregnancy, birth, and postnatal journey with knowledge, information and techniques through specially designed classes and workshops and specialist 1:1 nurturing care. 

 

I believe that motherhood is a huge transition for your mind & body and women need support, nurture, knowledge, specialised education and much needed space to heal and recover. ​​

About Me

Hello! I'm Claire, I am the mama of two wonderful children and was inspired by both of them in very different ways to found Mother Nurture Natal - my experience was very different for each of my pregnancies and births and it has shaped my passion for supporting and empowering others!

My first was born in 2020 and my second arrived in 2023.  Through each of my journeys, I learned what was missing - 

a mother centred approach with focus on knowledge, empowering education, specialised techniques and much needed space to heal and recover.

I am a Champion for Make Birth Better - an organisation which helps to raise awareness and campaign to make birth, including the road before and the journey beyond, better for all. I have worked with them since 2020 and continue to support their mission and campaigns.

I am part of the Derbyshire Maternity & Neonatal Voices and I am actively involved in the NHS Perinatal Pelvic Health working group to shape and improve services for women in pregnancy and postnatally relating to pelvic health. 

My approach is warm, nurturing, non-judgemental, supportive and full of empathy and compassion.

My classes are designed to support and nurture you both physically and emotionally - body and mind!

 

Suitable from 14 weeks to birth - after your NHS scan - join a community of mamas-to-be and experience the benefits of specially selected movements, breathing techniques, labour & birth prep, and relaxation practices along with specialist pelvic health knowledge to empower you in your journey. 

 

I run classes in 6 week blocks - you can join anytime a space is available and continue as long as you wish to, right up to birth or when you feel comfortable to!

As well as offering weekly group classes, I also offer individual 1:1 sessions which are specifically designed for your body and your pregnancy. These can be a lovely way to alleviate specific concerns or if you are not able to make a weekly group class.

Whether you are a few months post birth.. or a few years into motherhood.. this class is for you.. 

  • To rebuild strength in your pelvic floor

  • Specialised pelvic health knowledge

  • To improve core strength

  • Specialist breathwork 

  • Ease out aches and pains and any tension 

  • Connect and meet with other mums

  • Nurture, heal and strengthen your body

  • Reconnect with your body after birth 

No babies, no pressure - just time for you & your body to feel supported and surrounded by a group of other mums who completely get it. 

You don't need any experience or to be flexible or strong, I will guide and support you with compassion, knowledge and help you feel empowered. 

These classes are unique in that they support you and your recovery from all types of birth with a strong focus on your wellbeing and navigating the many changes you may experience. 

I believe that postpartum is forever so you are welcome here whatever stage you are at. I am 2 whole years postpartum and I still love practicing these sequences.
